Composite bonding is a great way to restore teeth that have minor discolouration or damage. The results look natural as the material used – composite resin – is closely matched to your other teeth. It’s applied to the tooth as a sort of putty that’s then hardened with a UV light, so results are immediate. The treatment is usually only available privately as it’s considered a cosmetic enhancement. It can be used to shape the affected tooth and add length, and the process may be able to be carried out in just one visit.
